Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 13, 2026 · Last updated: September 13, 2026
Corrobix Inc. (“Corrobix,” “we,” or “us”) is accountable for the personal information we handle in connection with corrobix.com (the “site”). This policy is written to be consistent with Canada’s federal private-sector privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
This policy covers the public corrobix.com site only. It does not cover the Crossvyn product itself or any customer environment, which are governed by a separate agreement with each customer.
What the site collects today
The site does not currently have a contact form, account creation, or newsletter sign-up, so we do not directly collect names, email addresses, or similar details through it. Visiting the site may still generate ordinary technical log data — such as IP address, browser and device type, the page you came from, and which pages you viewed — through our hosting provider’s standard server logs.
If that changes — for example, if we add a demo-request form, a newsletter, or analytics software — we will update this policy first to describe what is collected, why, and how consent is obtained, consistent with PIPEDA’s consent principle.
Why we would collect it
Any information the site collects is used only for the purpose we identify at the time of collection — today, that purpose is limited to operating and securing the site and understanding general traffic patterns. We do not use site data to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.
Disclosure to others
We may share technical site data with service providers who help us operate the site, such as our web hosting provider, strictly so they can perform that role for us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights. We do not disclose site data to advertising networks.
Where information is processed
Our hosting provider may store or process site data in Canada or in other countries. Where data is processed outside Canada, it may become subject to the laws of that country, including lawful access by local authorities — a standard disclosure under PIPEDA’s openness principle.
Retention and safeguards
We keep technical site data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, and use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the limited data involved. No system connected to the internet can be guaranteed completely secure.
Accuracy
Because the site does not currently collect identifying information directly from visitors, there is generally no visitor-supplied personal data on file for us to keep accurate. This will be revisited if that changes.
Access, correction, and complaints
Under PIPEDA, you have the right to ask what personal information an organization holds about you and to request correction of inaccurate information. If you believe corrobix.com holds information about you and would like to make a request, contact us below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
